Colonic Hydrotherapy Purposes and Description
Loosens and cleanses mucus/plaque
- As the water fills and empties, the colon expands and contracts which loosens mucus that collects on the
colon walls over the years.
- This build-up of mucus interferes with the ability of the blood to eliminate wastes and toxins through the
colon wall.
- Very old, hard, dark, rubbery mucus can be softened first with intestinal cleansers containing psyllium.
Stimulates peristalsis (muscle contractions that move waste matter through the colon)
