Kristin
Certified Colonic Hydrotherapist, I-ACT / Certified Health Counselor
Kristin has a passion for detox, cleansing and general wellness that is evident in each session she provides. With great knowledge and professionalism, she is a natural educator and therapist. Kristin became a certified Colon Hydrotherapist through the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapists, I-ACT in 2008, where she also obtained her certification in CPR and First Aid. It was then that she realized how happy it makes her to support those experiencing mild or intense states of dis-ease and guide people to help bring greater wellness, rejuvenation, clarification and health into their lives through nutrition and deep cleansing.
As a Certified Holistic Health Counselor accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, Kristin works directly with people on their paths to whole-body health. She received her education from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts. There, she studied with leading wellness educators including Drs. Andrew Weil, Elisabeth Lipski, Deepak Chopra, Barry Sears, Walter C. Willett, and Joseph Mercola; and leaders in personal growth such as Julia Butterfly Hill, Geneen Roth, Debbie Ford, and Iyanla Vanzant. With such a background, Kristin is deeply dedicated and well-trained to offer clear, directed, personalized counseling and advice during her colonic sessions.
Prior to discovering her passion for helping others achieve wellness through colonic hydrotherapy and counseling for greater health, Kristin earned her B.A. in Public Health and Education at the University of California, at Berkeley. She spent many years working in the service and real estate industries, and while she enjoyed success in both industries, she eventually found herself becoming more stressed, gaining weight, and not feeling good inside and out. At that point, she decided to become more proactive in improving her own health and balance.
Through recent years of research, experimentation, and self-awareness, Kristin now recognizes the crucial role that foods and cleansing play in affecting energy levels, preventing illness, and improving health in general. She finds that it is an ongoing learning experience.
Today, Kristin has the joy of helping support and guide others on their journey of becoming healthier and happier.
Kristin is now a registered nurse, and is on the schedule Saturday and Monday afternoons, and potentially other evenings upon request.
