Gaya
Certified I-ACT Colonic Therapist / Certified Master Massage Therapist (LMT)
Gaya offers thorough and effective, top-notch colonic hydrotherapy and massage. Well-trained and dedicated to the practice, she offers no less than her best in each session, in servitude to the greater wellbeing of all who come to her and these therapies on their journeys to optimum wellness.
Gaya’s methodology of intuitive, integrative bodywork ranges from very Deep Tissue to Swedish or Esalen styles. She is well attuned to the needs of her clientele, often flowing between point-specific holds, bellies of muscles or their attachment points, deep-girdle releases, and even light energetics if desired. By using most intentional, slower 3-D movements, Gaya’s massage adapts to each person in a fluid, harmonious, therapeutic, often entrancing dance -- blending elements of varying techniques such as Myofacial, Acupressure, Pressure-Point, Phenomenal Touch, Trager, Stretching, Somatic Polarity Therapy, Raindrop, Reflexology and Cranial Sacral Therapy.
Gaya envisions massage and colon hydrotherapy as both art and integrative healing based on intuition and her clients’ personal needs. She has 2000+ hours of education in the field of healing arts at renowned holistic institutions: the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts, the Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy, and the Institute of Phenomenal Touch. Her skills evolve into a style of bodywork that is truly her own, specifically tailored and personalized to each individual. Inspired by massages given to her by her father from an early age, Gaya has transformed her touch and presence through the years to become the ever-evolving, natural therapist she is today.
Gaya apprenticed at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center, with a certificate in Spiritual Live Food Instruction, received further education at the Esalen Institute with personal education in digestive wellness along with a certificate degree in Colon Hydrotherapy.
Gaya has a passion for natural wellness and strengthening the body, giving power to the individual to be an integral part of the true healing process and encouraging movement and stillness of body, mind and spirit. Gaya is both educator and therapist.
